Harbor sells one operational layer with three channels. Labs do not have to buy all three. Contributors usually enter through one channel. Mixing them without an invitation creates failed uploads and NDAs that do not apply.

Capture — Collect data from the field and the web. Harbor mobilizes distributed contributors to capture image, video, audio, wearable, and multimodal data in the environments where AI systems actually operate.

Who it serves

Organizations source targeted collection, metadata capture, quality scoring, and structured delivery through one operational layer.

Contributor work

Data Intake contributors run field and studio capture programmes—recording real environments, attaching metadata, and uploading through Harbor tooling.

Annotation & Evals Workspace

Harbor Passport™ — Review and QA before training. Harbor connects organizations with vetted specialists for evaluation, validation, annotation, red teaming, model review, and quality assurance.

Who it serves

Teams deploy domain experts when model quality depends on human judgment—not generic labeling capacity. Invite-only matching with voice vetting.

Contributor work

Annotation & Evals contributors deliver rubric-based judgments on frontier workflows. Matching is skill-based across robotics, vision, clinical, and multilingual domains.

AI Recruitment Engine

Adaptive Validation & Delivery — Match and vet domain experts. Harbor designs custom collection, validation, workforce management, and delivery programmes around a client objective—from acquisition through outcomes.

Who it serves

Organizations that need Harbor to operate the full programme—including AI Recruitment and milestone escrow—use Managed Programs.

Contributor work

Some Managed Programs include dedicated contributor cohorts recruited and run by Harbor operations. Most contributor work flows through invite-only Data Intake and Annotation & Evals programmes.

How the three channels work together

A robotics lab might buy Collect-style egocentric hours for household manipulation, Expert evals on policy rollouts, and a managed mill programme for industrial pick-and-place. Each channel has its own desk, rubric, and contract. Passport is the identity layer that can follow a person across channels when they are the same contributor.

How contributors fit

Most independent contributors work through Data Network capture programs or Expert Network evaluation programs. Harbor issues invitations based on verified skills, capacity, and program demand—not open enrollment queues.
