What $HARBOR is for—and what it is not.
$HARBOR ties participation to real work on Harbor: field capture, expert judgment, and programme delivery. It is a utility for coordination and optional settlement. It is not a deposit account.
Contributor use
- Optional reward settlement via Passport (token mode vs cash)
- Faster settlement window than cash after approval
- Passport multipliers and referral tiers adjust effective rates on approved work when a programme pays
What Collect will show
Utility cards, your preference, ~30 vs ~90 day windows, Passport level, network status if present. Qualifying HARBOR and reward weight stay “—” until a live stock-reward pool is configured. Empty is honest.
What this documentation will not do
- Quote a token price
- Promise APY or “weight equals yield”
- Treat staking language as a retail product on Collect
Legacy $SCPT balances, if any, migrate under published intake terms. Collect still stores the preference as cash or scpt in the preference table; the product name on screen is $HARBOR.
